Annual Limited Period Open Enrollment for MainePERS Eligible PLD Employees
The Participating Local District (PLD) Consolidated Plan annual open enrollment period begins on September 1, 2023 and ends on November 1, 2023 for those Employers who have adopted this option for their employees. This relatively new provision of Maine law and rule allows eligible employees who declined to participate in the MainePERS pension program the opportunity to reconsider that decision during their first five (5) years of employment.
