At its meeting on July 8, 2010, the MainePERS Board
of Trustees will be holding a public rulemaking
hearing on the following rules:
Chapter 406
- Payment or Repayment of Contributions and Interest
for the Purchase of Creditable Service
Chapter 408 - Military Service Credit
The proposed rules may be viewed on this website via the link above,
or a copy may be obtained by contacting the
Executive Director’s office at 1-800-451-9800.
Written comments will be accepted by the Board if
received prior to the close of the comment period on
July 19, 2010.
